NEW YORK SOUND CITY

Sound City heads across the Atlantic for the second time to showcase some fantastic UK artists and to continue their mission to forge international partnerships for the entertainment industry. Alongside the one day conference sits a music showcase featuring emerging acts from the North West alongside some key alternative UK artists. There will also be a live podcast from The Anfield Wrap (the UK’s 2nd biggest podcast after the Guardian) discussing politics, football, pop, fashion and everything in between.

LIVERPOOL SOUND CITY

Officially kicking off the Uk festival season and the place to see the hottest emerging bands first, Liverpool Sound city is the largest city centre music and arts festival in the UK playing host to 360 artists, in over 25venues in Liverpool’s city centre alongside screen-printed poster exhibitions, film screenings, photographyshowcases, interactive performance art and the John Peel World Cup, a 5 a side football tournament.
Sound City also boast an internationally renowned conference like no other, bringing together the great and the good of the music, creative and digital industries.

LOVE SAVES THE DAY – BRISTOL

Love Saves The Day returns for a second year having sold out its inaugural event 2 months in advance of the festival. Celebrating the very best in credible electronic music, the festival is the brain child of the cities most respected promoters who have put on most of Bristol’s finest events and parties over the last decade.

HIGH DEFINITION – ESSEX

High Definition Festival intends to create the most visually and sonically extravagant showpiece ever for a small electronic festival in the UK with cutting edge production across all stages and arenas. High-end sound systems, hundreds of meters of LED screen panels, full-colour laser systems, pyrotechnics, Co2 cannons, stadium glitter launchers and hundreds of moving lights,
LEDs and generic fixtures all supplied by in-house production team Light Design Ltd, will be illuminating up this Essex skyline this summer. The biggest names in dance music will perform at the festival.

LIVE FROM JODRELL BANK – CHESHIRE

This multi award winning series of shows bring together science and music in a unique location. Taking place at the Jodrell Bank Observatory in Cheshire bands beam their projections onto the iconic 76m telescope, the third biggest in the world. With science workshops, lectures and experiments throughout the day and incredible bands at night, this is a show like no other.

SHAKEDOWN – BRIGHTON

Shakedown returns after a hugely successful 2012 where it trebled its audience and attracted 20,000 music fans to the South Coast. Shakedown is the final festival of the summer and a last chance to dance in the open air to some of the biggest names in contemporary music
